Twice the fun!

Hello there! Hope you are having a good weekend!  Have you found any time to squeeze in some scrapping?  I made a page that I wanted to stop by and share with you!  This page is all about an afternoon that my daughters and grand kiddo spent together at the beach!  It is a bittersweet page for me because while scrapping it, it really hit home how grown up my children have become.  Seems like it was just yesterday that I was tying shoes and wiping noses! Now a days they mostly do that for themselves!   They have all grown into these amazing people that are cultivating their own lives and doing their own things.   Makes my heart sing and cry a little too.......bittersweet!

Ok, on to the page:

They took this picture on the boardwalk and I love it because they all 3 just look so happy!  Since it was taken at the beach I thought I would go with a beachy blue and sandy brown color combo.  I double matted the photo to make it stand out.  I used the polka dotted paper to make banners in the places and then embossed the brown banners with dots to tie everything together.

I added a scalloped circle to break up some the blue and added some chevron arrows and those cute little puffy heart stickers.

I stapled the banners to both keep them in place and because I think the staples are an adorable addition!  I also stamped some splatters in a matching blue to help fill in some of that white space.

I stamped a sentiment in the same blue and drew some lines to add my journaling.

I made one for each of my daughter's albums.  I considered making a third for the the grand's album, but decided I would use a different layout for his.  So many fun possibilities!

Do you ever create multiples of your pages?

Ok, I am off to enjoy the rest of the weekend!  Have a wonderful day! I will be back soonest with more to share.
