Sketchy Saturday!

Hello and happy weekend to you!!  If you are new to my blog then welcome!! It is so very nice to have you here! If you would like to know a little bit about me you can check out this post:

If you have been here before, then welcome back! It is always nice to have your sweet face stop by!  Since today is Saturday I will be sharing a page I made using a sketch as my inspiration!  I have used this sketch before, but liked it so well that I have decided to make another page using it!  Take a look at the sketch:

Here is the page that I made using it as my inspiration:

This page features my gorgeous youngest daughter!

I stuck very closely to the sketch!  I went with a very soft pastel color palette for this page.

I used punches to make all of the elements in this cluster and then stamped on the white strip.  I layered a couple of patterned papers and ran the whole thing through my sewing machine.

I used puffy stickers for my title and then sewed them in place. In part, because I really like the way it looks and also to assure that those letters will stay in place!  The rest of this cluster is made using punches.

More punches and more stamping!  For the arrows I punched a handful of them and adhered them one on top of another to make them look more 3 dimensional.

Here is the finished page one more time!

Sketches area great tool to get you scrapping!  You can use them like a road map and follow them exactly or just use them as a getting started place!

I have a bazillion weekend things to get to, so I am off to get busy!!

So glad that you stopped by!  Hope to see you back tomorrow for a whole new page!  Have a great day and happy scrapping!
