A boy and his dog!

Hello there!  Are you an animal person?  We have 4 children and with those 4 children we have had and loved many, many animals over the years! We have had the pleasure of having dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, turtles, hamsters, fish, tadpoles and even snakes (*shivers*...not my favorite!!). Animals are good for the soul! I am definitely an animal person!

My page today is of my other gorgeous son and one of our many dogs.  Take a look:

I designed the whole color scheme around this sweet puppy!  Lots going on here! The background page is patterned paper and I topped it with white and then a kraft colored page. (all matching the pooches colors).  I started off by stamping the background randomly with paw prints.

I also embossed a couple of scrap pieces in the coordinating colors with paw prints!  I used my Cricut to make the title and adhered it to a matching piece of patterned paper.  I stamped the strip underneath with alternating paws, hearts and bone stamps making my own border piece.

Here is another angle of that border!  I used my Cricut to cut out the cute paper pieced pooch and then assembled him.  The sentiment is stamped and punched out using 2 sizes of circle punches.

Here is a close up of the pup!

Here is the finished page one more time!  I added a few lines on the right to add my story to.

Do you have animal pictures just waiting to be scrapped?  It does the heart good to get your pictures in albums and your stories on paper!!  Give it a shot!

Thank you for stopping by! I look forward to seeing you again soon!
