My little super hero!

Well, hello there!  Are you gearing up for the weekend?  It is almost here!!  Do you have any big plans of scrapping?  I spent a few hours today working on a new scrapbook page and I had the best time doing it!  I am feeling "super" accomplished because I pulled out one of my "super" favorite toys (My Cricut!).  I also managed to use up a "super" big pile of my stash that has just been begging to be used!  "Super" accomplished!!  (See what I did there?!)  My page today features one of my grands.  Take a look:

I really did have the best time with this page!  Ka-Boom!! This is a 12 x 12 single page layout.  I went with the super hero color theme throughout the whole page.  It has stars and lightning and fun arrows!!  Ka-pow!!  I left a big spot for my journaling; which I will do later!  I did some stamping and added a few enamel dots and called it done.

Let's talk about the details:

I  used the Cricut to make the title.  I used some Big Shot cutting dies (that have been in my stash forever!) to make the circle journaling spot and I added teeny little polka dots with a marker to each scallop.  I also did a little stamping. Those fun lines and the splatters in the star trail are all stamped.

I also used my Cricut to make this cute little super paper guy!!  I got tickled at how much he looks like my little grand guy!  I have discovered that I really love piecing together these little Cricut creations.  Fun, fun stuff!

Look how similar:

This fun kid cracks me up!

Ok, back to those details:

I hauled out my old (and I do mean old!!) Creative Memories star punches to create the trailing star pattern across the page.  On an interesting side note, I got my feet scrapbook wet for the first time with Creative Memories twenty *mumbles some number!* years ago and those punches still work great! LOL

Here is the whole page one more time.  "Super" fun page to create!

I hope you are able to find some time this weekend to do some creating too!

I would love to have you join my new Facebook group!  Lots of inspiration there! You can find it here:
