Grand #3 wears a hat!

Hello there!  I have a cute grand kid double page 12 x 12 layout to share with you today!  Isn't this kid just so adorable?  He is very serious most of the time, but then when he does smile at you he literally lights up the whole room!

Page one.....I went with a traditional baby boy color scheme and I went super heavy on the layers.  My bottom layer is a baby blue and then a nice neutral tan color pallet to let the other colors do their colorful thing!  I added a title using gold stickers and then sewed them  in place with my machine.  I added a bit of light journaling.

I added some stamping and sponging to the page to make things pop.  I stamped the date with my date roller stamp.

I pulled the polka dot theme from one of the pieces of patterned paper and duplicated that in a couple of places on the pages.  I think the circles add a nice soft feel in contrast to the edges and corners of the photos.

I used a border punch to punch the edges of three pieces of the patterned paper.  I arranged them in a triangular shape around the whole collage of paper and photos.  It adds a nice visual encouraging the  eye to travel around the exterior.

I used my Cricut to cut and paper piece these cute little guys together. They just add a little something fun to the page!

Here is a closeup of the title.

This was a really fun spread to work on!  This little guy has grown so much since these pictures were taken!  I am really excited to work on more of his pages!

Are you feeling inspired to make a page or two yet?  I would love to see what you are working on too! Leave me a comment and let me know!

I'll see you soon!
